That is the point.  So-called "un-decideds" may just be hesitate to settle on a pick for fear of ending up being responsible for being on the wrong side of history.  Like Herman Cain, "I don't have facts to back this up" but along with the potential that being undecided has for getting attention, there may be something to not being associated with a loser.  So... Put up, don't shut up!  VOTE!   BTW:  Obama may be the one, but is Romney the other one?  The other point?  There is less point in the effort to Restore Our Future(grammatically pointless), than to have Priorities USA !

In snooze mode this AM I heard something about a False Flag charge on the Stephanie Miller Show> Could it be this on the politics of fear? The political calculus is the fear at Rock the Truth as well.
On the strength of the comments from Democratic candidates they rate in the following order.

Standing up for what? Impeachment is the only way.
Standing up now is the way to tell who will stand up as President or is political calculus just using ones toes?

OK! This brief ramble is just about not falling for the Republican meme. Getting the message out that Democrats are not the problem and any problems will be the Republicans. Of course even in retreat, Bush blames the Democrats. See first story. Hence the need to pursue continued investigations and not let anyone off the hook.

Just a little stepping back on the previous post of mine. First: it is always in the words that you find what you Google. Second: then they must still be filtered.

The particular page on Rove and Hillary along with the new filter as I note above, Meme or and um , spells it all out. But I still have a ways to go, and it is not that clear where it is coming from. All I can say is that it is a filter. What it fertilizes is still up to the "hard work" of the people. Which is something I need to get back to... later.

Here I will preemptively hit the nail on the head.
Mother Jones, you see hints at the point in the title. Alleged White House-Petraeus Arm Wrestling Over September Report a Ruse? At least that is my point. And TYT. From other source or my general filtering, Patraeus is dancing around "the turd blossoms" of information and politics. Now I will read the report.-
Now that I have, it comports with my opinion and the facts. One thing that must be remembered, there is no obligation to tell the truth to anyone in the media. Even the media has the right to lie. And apparently in this case there may be two stories ** both in public and behind closed doors. And this goes directly back to troop involvement with the facts and whether their opinions matter, whether they are in or out of the military.]

Outgoing but divided

The irony that the most liberal Republican would lose to a Democrat with the name Whitehouse, Senator Lincoln Chafee anounced:
"The people have spoken all across America. They want the Democrats and Republicans to work together," he said. "I think the president now is going to have to talk to the Democrats. I think that’s going to be good for America."

Or possible good omen for Democrats as Vilsack anounces bid for White House.

I must note a distinction a caller brought out of Ed Shultz on the issue of "divided government". Although we understand that Democrats are needed in the House and Senate to balance the Republican in the White House, Ed meant that divided government to him means simply a Legislative, Judicial and Executive branch that "do their job"(I believe my words). In fact this is my paraphrase and extension, but I also add that my opinion for divided government is that Democrats represent the people and may still have more than one perspective.

When the first 100 hours and 100 days have passed there will still be hard work, because other perspectives can never be "wiped off the political landscape" as Jack Abramoff is believed to have said.

I believe Bush called the ideological war the calling of our time, it is only a snooze alarm. Perspectives must be listened to.

As Abraham Maslow is reported to have said: "Authoritarians must be converted or they must be excluded." While that may seem to apply to other categories, that would be Authoritarian. Where I was going is "War is(only) a last resort". That is my (D)evolution.

Who started it?

Bill Bennett asks why would the Democrats attack Bush on his strength,[update 10-31-11 *] his war on terrorism?

Release of the NIE was bad for everybody, he claims. That is the point. Intelligence is on the Democrats side, and they want it locked up.

Matt Lauer did a surprisingly good job countering most points that Bennett made including pointing out that Bush has been on the offensive, and Bennett served his cake and ate it too, by excusing that as becuase it is Bush's strength.

Well, if it is their strength, just who is Bennett waving the white flag to (maybe a semafore, when he persists that "he brought it up" meaning Clinton started it? Is he talking to those he claims didn't blaim Clinton, didn't blame Bush or did blame the CIA? And who is he sending the message to, when he brings the war on terrorism back to Iraq, but he hopes that "chasing after Clinton on the world stage... is over"?

We must keep the truth out there, on the media stage. They will continue to misread it. Who will keep it up?

Today the president gave an important* presidential ADDRESS, according to the administration, before the National Endowment for Democracy. Rather than primetime it was snooze time for the West coast at least. As listeners woke to their clock radios and the president's voice, it just may not be the right time of day for propaganda. As opposed to Tom DeLay’s remark about his indictments not passing a test of the shortest glance, minds may be their most keen while hitting the snooze button. One caller to the Ed Shultz Show claimed to have an epiphany during the speech. His point being that anyone who runs a successful business must lay out success metrics in order to succeed, and all Bush has is failure metrics.

The first point was embedded in the first paragraph of my comments "Intelligent Design? More Irony." The balance of it covered the endless recycling of Bush's excuses.

A further case in point, while I am uncertain if it came from the speech, is the question: Would Iraq be better off with Bin Laden in charge? While we can’t go home again,(well I don’t really know) but if Bin Laden is now an option, why not ask if Iraq is better off with Sadam? My point not being to answer that, only that the options are now even worse. So if a red herring is what we faced, we can always imagine smellier fish.

Maybe it is fertilizer but I don't imagine it will help democracy whether it is a fragile flower or a tree, whether it is homegrown or outsourced.
